Education for All
Education for All (EFA) is an international plan to bring the benefits of education to “every citizen in every society.” To make this happen they have thought for achieving six specific education goals.
These 6 goals can be found here.
At a meeting in Senegal, 189 countries accepted the two EFA goals that are also Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Even if MDGs 2 and 3 refer only to issues of universal primary education and gender parity
I think that that education for all is a good thing because its helping everyone to be educated in all age group and its not being racist, selfish or giving anyone the feeling of superiority or inferior. This also helps for people to be safe like for example umm reading signs or not being able to understand things.

Good, so do you think that the EFAs are way we can get rid of intolerance or discrimination? why/why not?
ReplyDeletemr. mitchell not completely because it means that giving education for all would mean that every1 is the same and that they are also respecting different cultures which would mean they arent discrimanating people from stoopin them from education.
