The unemployment benefits
Unemployment or joblessness, is when a person has no job or are seeking for one. In 2012, 86% of the world’s workforce were without a job. This causes many economical issues such as taxes are not paid by those unemployed people. Unemployment benefits are pensions paid by the government to the unemployed people in order them to be able to have enough money to live. The quantities are small and can only cover their basic needs such as food, shelter and water. In addition, unemployment benefits are only given to people who are signed as unemployed.

Do you think the govenment should give unemployment benfits? , because the government loses a lot of money on it if many people become employed, or should the government do something else for the unemployed people?
ReplyDeleteWell, unemployment benefits are used from taxes collected from the people living in the country. If the unemployment rates rise, indeed people will not be able to pay the taxes, costs for goods and services will decrease automatically. In addition, the central bank of the country will start to print new coins and notes to put the economy back in track.
DeleteAre you sure that jus printing notes and coins will put the economy back on track??
DeleteYes
Deleteyes
DeleteJust printing notes will lead to price rise which is not good for the economy. What other alternatives did you find to put the economy back on track?
DeletePrinting notes to the economy may cause inflation, however a slow flow of the new money will keep the inflation at the minimum. Therefore an alternative is not really necessary.
DeleteHowever... if you really insist in wanting to know about an example of an alternative, opening the borders to allow immigrants go into the country will increase the amounts of workers who will do the jobs. In addition, they are able to pay taxes.
What if there are already many immigrants and the borders are already open? Then what are the alternatives for that?
DeleteThey open the borders again, allowing people out of the country and new immigrants in.
DeleteWhat if the country like Belgium are full of immigrants? Can you find some other alternatives?
