“A direct relationship exists between heart disease and diet. Although diet is not a direct risk factor, it affects several risk factors for the condition, including having diabetes, being overweight, and having high blood pressure and/or high cholesterol. Research has shown that following a diet low in fat, cholesterol, and salt, and high in fruits, vegetables, and whole grains can reduce the chances of developing heart disease.”

ReplyDeleteThe solutions are by limiting the amount of fast-food in an area, by home meals, by doing regular excerices, parents spendin more with their children and by having a balance diet. Some people can't cope beacuse they are used to eating junk food.
ReplyDeletehmmm ok... how can we get parents to do this?
ReplyDeleteThe government might provide a day where parents come in and sit down and they can have lectures on how to live a health life.
ReplyDeleteInteresting thought... Are there any places in the world where governments are doing this kind of thing?
